How we build the board

tsrak publishes curated, daily transport prices for fuels and petroleum products between the main cities of the region.

What a rate is

Every price belongs to a lane: an origin, a destination, a product, a packaging or load type, a transport mode and, where it matters, a quantity tier. The direction is part of the lane — Baghdad → Tashkent and Tashkent → Baghdad are priced separately because backhaul economics differ.

Each price carries its currency, its unit (metric ton, barrel, cubic metre, per truck, per container…) and the Incoterm it is quoted on, such as DAP or CFR.

Where the numbers come from

Our analysts monitor carriers, brokers and market websites in each country. Prices are extracted with the help of AI tools, normalised to the lane structure above and reviewed before publication.

Daily history

One price per lane is kept for each day it is observed. That history drives the trend lines, the 7- and 30-day changes and the market range (the lowest and highest price seen for the lane on that day).

Freshness

A rate that has not been refreshed for a few days, or whose validity date has passed, is marked Stale. Treat it as indicative.

Disclaimer

Rates are indicative market information and not an offer to transport. Always confirm availability, terms and surcharges with the carrier before contracting.
